About
When it comes to the kitchen, I’m definitely not a chef or an expert in any way! I’m very much a novice, always learning and surprising myself; when things go right more than when they go wrong. I’m a mum and a wife and so feeding my family has been something I’ve had a love/hate relationship with. I find the inspiration of what to cook more of a challenge than the actual cooking itself.
There seem to be so many gadgets, utensils and tools that can be used when creating meals, that sometimes it feels totally overwhelming. Do I really need the latest gadget? How will it make my life easier? Will it make my food taste better? Will it save time? I think with the right information and advice, then maybe the right gadgets can improve on both my confidence and enjoyment cooking and preparing meals.
The Kitchen Novice was started as a way to explore and learn, with a byproduct being better tasting food (hopefully!). My blog, will be articles about kitchen paraphernalia that I have searched up or queried on my quest to make my kitchen journey as easy and effective as possible. I hope you find it interesting and helpful.
